Areas of Law | Specialists | Accredited Specialists

Barristers and solicitors, by completing an advanced study programme regulated by their Law Society and fulfilling other strict criteria, such as good conduct and long service in the practise of a particular area of law, qualify to practise as accredited specialists in that area of law.

Specialisation in areas of law offers potential clients a reliable means of identifying lawyers with special competence in a certain area of law.
